    1. And I have finally found a great editor for the series! She has redone Dark Cotillion as of this week and is working on Dark Legacies now. I will be having her go through Illumination and Resurrections when she finishes with these two. It took me six editors, but I finally found a winner!

    1. Yep, I’m currently working on Belladonna Dreams, book 9 in the series. This series is open ended… I have no set amount that I intend to write. I love the characters and they are interesting to write with. It will run until I can no longer think of new serial killers!

    1. At the moment, all my beta slots are full for The Dreams & Reality books (however, this will change if I start writing the reality half of the books). I do have openings for The Death Demon Trilogy and The Dysfunctional Chronicles. In the next few days, I will be making a blog announcement for those.

    I just want to tell you I haven’t been so engrossed with a storyline since the first 5 Anita Blake novels (the rest …ehhh) lol
    Your series has me anxiously awaiting any and all Aislinn Cain books on ibooks.
    I noticed from earlier posts you mention a Malachi Blake book?
    When will it come out and what will it be named?
    I cant wait til March….uggh the suspense is killing me 🙂

      1. how come i cant find Innocent Dreams anywhere? I see talk about it but i don’t see it listed in the series for some reason…
        I’ve finished Flawless Dreams and not sure which book is next….lol

      5. Why is innocent dreams not available in uk as I can not find it. What’s happened to my pre orders for the two audio books 2 and 3 of the dreams and reality series which were supposed to be released today I’m really upset about this

      7. Can you tell me why my pre orders of Mercurial Dreams” and “Elysium Dreams on audio due to be released today have not and now all I’m getting is unavailable. I’m really upset as I was looking forward to these and have paid for them.

      8. The narrator backed out the week they were set to release. The narrator for Tortured Tia Rider Sorenson is scrambling to get the Aislinn Cain narration done for both Elysium & Mercurial. I understand a man will be reading the killer chapters in both those books.

    1. No release date is forthcoming yet since I still haven’t found my voice after venturing into the rabbit hole and not escaping. Hopefully after February 2nd I’ll have a better understanding of my life.

  16. Hi. My book club is reading Tortured Dreams this month and I am not sure what kind of discussion questions we should have. This is one of my favorite book series and I wanted to introduce the rest of my book club (Literary Ladies) to it. Are they any questions that you would recommend be asked about this book? Please help me.

    1. Every book group that has analyzed Tortured has either focused on the character development or the historical accuracy. I recommend using the characters as conversation points, since my characters drive the plots instead of the plots driving the characters.

  17. I have read all your Aislinn Cain books and love them. I have now added you to my most favorite Author list along with J D Robb and Anne McCaffery along with a very few others. I am a retired librarian and love to read. Can’t wait until #13 comes out.

  18. Hello,
    I’ve bought, read and enjoyed the Dreams and Reality series up to Flawless Dreams via Smashwords, my favourite online bookseller. I was disappointed to find that no books in the series were published since Flawless Dreams in 2017.

    Today I finally searched for your website/blog and found that Demonic Dreams; Ritual Dreams and Anonymous Dreams are already available via other booksellers.

    Why is Smashwords store and by extension, readers like myself left out?

    1. Unfortunately, Smashwords requires special intense formatting. Until Demonic Dreams I was paying someone to format my ebooks for upload to the site. When I contacted her to format Demonic, she never replied and I haven’t found a replacement formatter for Smashwords. It is not meant to leave any readers out. It’s just exceptionally difficult to format for Smashwords (I am incapable of getting my own formatting past their quality control system). I did pay someone else to format Demonic and sadly, it also failed to pass their quality control system. Eventually, they will all be made available on Smashwords, but it may take a while yet as I have yet to find a formatter that passes and guarantees their work will pass.

    1. It’s roughly $7,000 to make each audiobook and I make $1.89 per copy of the Tortured audiobook sold. So, it’s been impossible to justify turning all of them into audiobooks.

  20. Shame about no more audio books I have complained to audible as I can not understand how they can justify inferior books to get free audio promotions and yet superior books like yours don’t. It’s really not fair as I love listening to audio books. But I won’t let that stop me buying all your dreams and reality series when they are released as I love this series it’s awesome. Let me know when and as they are released on kindle.

  21. Is the books 2 and 3 in the dreams and reality audio books still being released on the 17/8/21 as I live in uk and there is no pre-order links yet.
