The First Weekend Away

As this is being published, we are currently enjoying (or something) our first week at the campground.  I question the “enjoying” part because it’s a lot of work.  The campground has already been opened, my SO and his father went up several weeks ago and did that.

There’s still a lot to do… mostly in our camper.  Since it sits most of the year, on a permanent site, we move a lot of crap into it (and out of it at the end of the year).  There is food, clothing, bedding, and other stuff to be taken up, unpacked, and put away.

My SO will have things to do outside the camper.  I’ll have things to do inside.

The first weekend is never much fun.

However, there is always a silver lining: we are going to Monroe City for Mexican food!
