Easter Eggs

I am using Grammarly’s Grammar Corrector (again)… Maybe the second time is the charm.

I just discovered I can make easter egss in my Kindle ebooks… Holy crap!  If I had known that earlier, well I’d have a ton of hidden pages.

But have no fear, I know now and there is still plenty of time to easter egg Mercurial Dreams.  And if it’s a hit, I can always go back through the other books and do it.  I am going through and putting links at the end of each book to take you to the next book for automatic buying and a link to the book you just read in an attempt to get more people to do reviews.  Plus, there is an interactive “More Books By Me” being created.

I’ve had three books formatted by this person and they hadn’t mentioned easter eggs to me before.  I’m a little bummed by it.  I finally asked them after finding an ebook with an easter egg.

I’ve been told it doesn’t work as well on Smashwords and B&N.  I haven’t tried it, so I’m not sure.  Has anyone else?  How does everyone feel about easter eggs, like them/hate them?

  2. I’ve bought books because of easter eggs, so I guess it’s a good idea.
