Author in NYC

Well, we survived days 1 & 2. Yesterday, it was The Strand Book Store, Times Square and Madam Tussauds. Despite being surrounded by thousands of tourists, I did not snap a single photo in Times Square. Perhaps it was all the lights and throngs of people or perhaps it was just underwhelming to be in Times Square… I don’t know exactly. I did eventually grab a snap of it from inside Madam Tussauds, but that is hardly the same.

I did get my picture with the wax statue of Nicolas Cage that I hope never sees the light of day. And a snapshot of my head in the crown of Lady Liberty inside Madam Tussauds… I’ll be posting pics when I return.

Today it was the American Museum of Natural History, some of Central Park and FAO Schwartz.

Extremely tired… more another time.
