To stylus or not to stylus…

As I begin using my Kindle Fire more and more, I realize just how pudgy my fingers are. And between the pudgy nubs that pass as fingers and the amazing ability of autocorrect to screw up entire sentences… The question arises: Do I get a stylus for my KF?

Not only do I read on my KF, but I also do some editing and will start drafts of stories on it. When I don’t want to break out the laptop for a post on Twitter or Facebook or even a blog post, I use my Fire.

Last week, I began researching a stylus. Very mixed reviews for every product I looked at (and there were dozens if not hundreds). They run the gambit… love it, hate it, too cheap, too expensive, spend the money for a good one, don’t waste the money for the expensive ones the cheapies work fine…

All of it was unhelpful. So as I continue to move deeper into the technology lair, I am left wondering… do I or don’t I bother with the stylus and if so, which one?

  1. I recently got a Wacom Bamboo stylus for my iPad and I really like it – for the most part. My sweet husband bought the top of the line model (which, I’m not kidding, includes a regular pen within the stylus) but I think you could get away with the cheaper one and be fine. I would recommend one with a rubberized tip rather than a foam one – it makes it a bit easier to use. Good luck finding something you like! 🙂
