My Day… In a Nutshell

Well, I hooked up the WiFi at the studio first thing this morning.  Then I began rearranging all the furniture.  Then I did a bunch of spring cleaning.  Then more rearranging.  About an hour ago, I began writing.  I got 2,000 words.  Not my word goal for the day and the weekend is pretty much out.

I need to do some critiques for my Novelists’ group meeting, but we are having a big to-do at the campground this weekend.  My SO’s nephew is going off to college.  We are having a “going away” for him.  My SO’s entire family seems to be coming.  This means I will have very little time to write and I’ll be squeezing in the critiques that I am supposed to do.

I need to put the critiques on my Kindle so I can read and make notes this weekend without booting the laptop.  I missed my Maven’s post this week because of the migraine and all the other crap going on in my life.

I’m just ready for next week to start… I think.

On the plus side (because there is always a unicorn or silver lining), I talked to my artist friend and she is going to draw some of the characters from the Strachan books.  Should be good.
