India & Adverts

Am I really that popular in India?  I have been going through the past few months of sales and come to the conclusion either I am or Amazon has more hidden in that 35% v. 70% then they are telling me.  About half of all my book sales at $2.99 are paid to me at 35%.  Since I am not enrolled in KDP, this applies to India on Amazon.com.  It also means I am very popular there… especially for a girl that took a Hindu God and turned him into a Djinn.

Ah well, a book sale is a book sale, no matter where the country.  I am just shocked that India likes my work.

Now that book three is out, it is time to start plotting some adverts.  I was thinking of running a three day successive campaign.  Book 1 on one day, book 2 the next, book 3 the following.  It is difficult with no reviews, but there are a few places willing to overlook it if the book is brand new.  I noticed one of my beta-readers has already posted their review on B&N.  I look forward to seeing some of the others go up.

Now it is back to writing.  That’s still my favorite part.
