A Book Blog?

I have now been asked twice to start a book blog. I consider this to be an odd request… why would any one care what I have to say about a book?

It would seem that my acute understanding of the plight of an indie author coupled with my insatiable reading habits and my ability to keep my own blog going and growing is just the sort of thing that other indie authors are looking for in a book blogger.

I am definitely a reader, finishing between 15 and 30 books a month. I do try to leave reviews when I realize a book doesn’t have many. And my reviews on Goodreads have started grabbing followers.

However, I am a very picky reader. Sure I’ll finish almost any book I start, but that doesn’t mean I am going to think much of it. And my preferences for horror and mystery are somewhat limiting. I used to read a lot of paranormal, but… I’ve been killed on the genre by some mainstream writer’s who can’t seem to break out of the molds of what works.

Also, I have never blogger a review of a book. I can’t even figure out how to insert the html code for my own tours into my blog. I can’t imagine that I would be very good at it.

So then why was I asked? That is a question for the ages…

Don’t forget it is “Read a Book” month. E-Book sales are plentiful as a result… go grab someone new today and see if you can find a new writer to fall in love with.

    • me either! 😀 I keep hearing this phrase: Can’t you write any faster? Considering I release a book every two months, no, as a matter of fact, I can’t write any faster. Trying to fit a book blog into that writing schedule would be horrendous.
