The First Surge

You know that first surge of readers who go out and by your books the day it’s released?  I don’t have one of those.

My book sales are more like a slow, but steady climb up a giant hill.  The first month, I usually sell to my friends and family.  To off set that though, I have a huge sales surge the first month of hard copies.  Then those dwindle and ebook sales begin to pick up.

Obviously, I haven’t gotten this book release marketing down yet.

However, I continue to explore Twitter and other marketing ideas.  I recently read through a bunch of stuff that was “non-traditional” marketing.

Ok, that’s all you’re getting today… I’ll explain tomorrow… maybe.
